Copyright and DMCA policy
Last updated October 25, 2026.
Vibebook is run by Crossover Labs LLC. We respect copyright, and we expect everyone who uses Vibebook to do the same. This page explains how to tell us about content on Vibebook that you believe infringes your copyright, how to respond if your content was removed, and what we do in each case. It follows the notice and takedown process of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512).
What this policy covers
Members put content on Vibebook, or ask our page builder to make it for them. That content is:
- profile pages, the custom pages built from each member's description, including any text, pictures, fonts, styles or code on them;
- vibe descriptions, change requests, names, handles, bios and personal details;
- posts and comments;
- photos, including avatars, the Photos tab and photos attached to posts, and their captions;
- the share pictures and link previews we make from profile pages.
Every member's profile lives at an address like vibebook.crossoverlabs.ai/u/their-handle.
Our copyright agent
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to our designated agent:
Copyright Agent, Crossover Labs LLC
377 Main St, West Haven, CT 06516, USA
Email: hello@crossoverlabs.ai (please put "Copyright notice" or
"Counter-notice" in the subject line)
Before you send a notice
Check that the work is yours, or that you are authorized to act for its owner, and consider whether the use could be fair use or otherwise allowed by law. Copyright protects specific creative expression, not ideas, styles or short phrases. If you are not sure, consider talking to a lawyer first.
How to send a notice
Your notice must be in writing, sent to our copyright agent, and include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner. A typed full name at the end of an email is fine.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If one notice covers several works on Vibebook, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material you believe is infringing and that you want removed, with information reasonably sufficient for us to find it. The best way is the profile address (vibebook.crossoverlabs.ai/u/their-handle) plus which item it is: the profile page itself, a photo and its caption, or a post or comment with its date and first few words.
- Your contact information: your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the way you are complaining about is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
If a notice is missing some of these items but includes the second, third and fourth, we will try to contact you to complete it. A notice that does not substantially meet these requirements may not be acted on.
The "Report this profile" button is for safety problems, and a report sent with it is not a copyright notice. Copyright notices must go to our copyright agent.
What we do when we receive a valid notice
- We remove the material, or disable access to it, promptly. For a profile page, that can mean resetting the page to its plain starter look.
- We tell the member who posted it that it was removed and why.
- We may send that member a copy of your notice, including your name and contact details, so they can respond.
- We record the notice against the member's account for our repeat infringer policy (below).
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send our copyright agent a written counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and where it appeared on Vibebook before it was removed (for example, your profile address and which item it was).
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Crossover Labs LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice, or that person's agent.
When we receive a complete counter-notice, we promptly send a copy, including your contact details, to the person who sent the original notice, and tell them we will put the material back in 10 business days. We then restore the material, or stop disabling access to it, no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we received the counter-notice, unless our copyright agent first receives notice that the person who sent the original notice has filed a court action seeking to stop you from infringing with that material on Vibebook.
Repeat infringers
We keep a record of the valid copyright notices we receive against each account. When an account has three valid notices that were not resolved by a successful counter-notice or a retraction from the person who sent the notice, we terminate it. We may terminate an account sooner, including after a single notice, if the infringement is clear or willful. A member whose account was terminated for repeat infringement may not open a new account.
False notices and counter-notices
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, can be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

This process is only for copyright. For trademark concerns, privacy, impersonation or any other problem, email hello@crossoverlabs.ai, or use the "Report this profile" button for safety problems. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
